WATER WOMAN gathering details

It is with great excitement and anticipation that we invite you to participate in the first, Water Woman gathering, an all-inclusive global event on the Sunshine Coast this summer, inspired by the popular annual ‘Burning Man’ festival.
Much like Burning Man, our collective intention is to create a magical journey towards consciousness, wholeness and sustainability on the planet.

“Our mission is to inspire, empower and entertain by co-creating a sustainable community gathering, celebrating Water as Life, Unity Consciousness and the Divine Feminine. Water Woman integrates healing, learning and growth through the Arts, Spirit and Nature."

Water Woman gathering will be held at beautiful Crystal Creek on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Friday, Aug. 1st to Monday, Aug. 4th, 2008, a BC long weekend. This four day event will inspire and activate 250-500 attendees, with rates varying from daily passes at $35 to all-inclusive weekend passes, valued at $133. including camping on this pristine paradise. Most activities will be scheduled in advance comprising daily yoga and meditation, ceremonies, rituals, workshops, sweat lodges, dancing, an international marketplace, performance and visual arts. Flexibility, flow and fun are mandates for Water Woman’s inception and culmination.

Please join us in sharing your gifts and wisdom this summer with our community, local and international participants and other passionate presenters. We welcome your involvement as part of your ongoing commitment to co-creating personal and global unity at this time.

This is the live recording of our set at Shambhala this year. Its a mash up of psydub, ethno fusion, psydm, idm, prog psy and just a lot of great music. This was an honour to play and an even bigger honour to have so many amazing souls present. hey all,

just wanted to give you a heads up on a pretty stylin event happening this saturday, oct 8, in Tofino. Called Rise Up for Your Roots 3.

This event is being hosted by Joshua James and all proceeds will go to the Friends of Clayquot Sound. This is the 3rd annual (as you may have guessed by the 3).

The previous years have been a smashing success, where Josh has combined musicians from the community and abroad.

This years celebrations will be nothing less than bloody amazing, and i dont mean that in a villianous way either!

The event goes from 6pm-6am and for a meager 15$, you will be fed with the most amazing food, a mariad of fine musical talents (Adham Shaike, Greenery, Kevin West, Breakfluid, Zachary and me. Nori- www.area709.com ) and then Brother Joshua will tell the story of the Crystal Palace!
